The Programme is of 96  credits comprising of all compulsory  courses with  an Internship  and On  the Job  Training In the first, second and third year re0spectively.The programme is offered with modular approach as given below:

1. First Year—Diploma in Retailing(DIR)
2. Second Year—Advanced Diploma in Retailing(ADIR)
3. Third Year— Bachelor of Business Administration (Retailing)(BBARL)
4. Three months internship in the first year and OJT subsequently in the 2nd and 3rd
5. A Viva Voce after submission of the  Work-Book  for  BRLT5,  BRLT9  and BRLT     
6. DIR &ADIR are only exitpoints.

10+2 or its equivalent

Lateral entry to 2^nd year of BBARL: Those who have successfully completed Diploma in Retailing (DIR) from IGNOU, are eligible for lateral entry to the second year of BBARL Program. They will be required to study only the second year and third year courses. The minimum and maximum duration of the Programme for students joining through Lateral Entry shall be two years and four years respectively.

To join through Lateral Entry, applicants may register on the online admission portal, select BBARL Programme, and follow the process. The option for Lateral Entry shall be given at the time of filling qualification details. . A scanned copy of the final marks sheet (Grade Card) of DIR indicating successful completion of the Programme is required to be uploaded, along with other documents as required.

Rs. 9000/- per year plus registration fee of Rs. 300/- in the first year
